I was an overweight kid who loved sports.  Then I was a varsity athlete and eating disorder survivor.  Then I was a grad student and activist.  Then a bureaucrat and later an aid worker.  Then I was a research coordinator and now I am a doctor.

I think everyone is doing their best and that everyone can be happy.

I am here to help people not put all of their laurels on their bodies because bodies are too impermanent and prone to meltdown to be the source of all of our happiness.  The answer does not lie in a pill, powder or ritual.
